#24 - Comment on Posts, Latest Stuff - 20100309
You can now comment on your favorite or most hated posts! Simply click on the post link or the underlined #number before the post (yes, that's actually a clickable link, and not just design) to access the comment form and the comments on post.
I've also added a few panels on the main page that features the latest post, comment, and guestbook entry. Clicking on these panels would direct you to the said post, comment, or guestbook.
EDIT:
You can now access the post by clicking the post itself. Your mouse cursor should change into a pointer and the text should become blue. Fire the button when commenting is desired.

#23 - Submission Page Update - 20100221
Changed how the submission page looks to accommodate a future update. Also added a comment input for posts which would appear after the post itself. Use this to explain your quote/joke, why it's funny, build up, clarification, etc. Of course, it's entirely optional, and you may leave this blank.
Oh, and while I've added the ability for you to submit jokes, there's no way to view them right now. Stay tuned.

Some updates:
1. Removed the Jokes portion for a future update, and also because nobody seems to use it anyway.
2. Added a Links portion. Have a website/blog? Exchange links with RAEP and have your link randomly appear on the top of the page.

#21 - New Home - 20100105
First off, Happy New Year to all RAEPers!
We now have a new home, update your bookmarks to http://raep.nyo.me. The old site still works, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. If you're not seeing the domain right, it's probably still propagating with your DNS, so be patient, and if you need to use RAEP immediately, just use the old URL instead.
tl;dr: RAEP is now at http://raep.nyo.me.

#20 - Guestbook, Jokes, Etc. - 20091223
1. Added guestbook. Might convert it into a shoutbox thingy sometime in the future. For now, post away!
2. Re-upped the Jokes portion of RAEP. I think the reason I took this down was because there's too many nigger jokes. So, for now, avoid posting nigger jokes. Pinoy or pinoy-related jokes are mostly welcome.
3. Still no logo. Still accepting.

#19 - RAEP on Facebook - 20091209
I've created a Facebook page to promote the website and to mirror news and updates to FB and whatnot. Become a fan now! Maybe I'll go write an app that would post the latest/random RAEP to FB or something. However, I don't want to lose viewers to the site itself so I'm still torn on the idea.
What I do need right now is a logo. RAEP logo submissions are open. Criteria is as follows:
1. Black or transparent background;
2. Square, any resolution larger than 100x100 pixels but must look nice when shrunk;
3. Must be sexy.
Please send your ideas to me via Y!M, or even post on the Facebook page. You will be lauded and granted eternal fame if your logo is chosen.

#18 - Some Updates - 20091208
A couple of updates:
1. Dates when the post was submitted is now shown beside the score.
2. Scores now affect how the quote looks. Negative scores are faded, while positive scores make the text larger. The higher the score, the larger the text.

#16 - Temporary Host - 20080601
Since you've found this page, I'll assume that you know what happened to my domain. Anyway, just to clarify, this isn't a permanent change (hopefully). Among the thousands of the free hosts I've canvassed, I found this one to be the best. The biggest constraint it has is the database size, which would be impossible to support the big changes I was planning.
The good news is, real life's getting a bit better, and I might have some resources to re-register my domain. If good goes to better, expect the news to come here.

#15 - RAEP in Poverty - 20080430
Well, actually maybe just me.
Anyways. Yup, I have no more resources to support my domain for another year. I have a month to come up with 150USD, which would support RAEP and all my other webprojects for two years. I doubt anyone would donate that much (iyak-tawa).
Anyway, I'm currently looking for a free host or something. I'm also religiously making backups for the current database. I'm thinking of a fund-raising scheme or something, sadly I still have a lot of IRL stuff to worry about (basically my daily bread among other things).
In preparation for a possible move/mirroring, I've created an Archive page, which would print out all posts made to RAEP. The link to it is at the bottom.
We'll get through this... hopefully.

Wow, an update. For real.
Since the Muffin joke made us lol, RAEP now has a new section made entirely for Jokes. To navigate to the jokes section, click on the Quotes link at the top, and the bar should change to the Jokes navigation. You can post any kind of joke, as long as it's not spam. Preferably funny ones.
Anyway, this is just a rough re-scripting of the old code. It has the same features as the Quotes section, and is basically on the same database. But I'll stop with the geek-talk. Everyone will see the results when time comes.

#5 - IMPORTANT NEWS! READ! - 20070529
ATTENTION STRONG PEOPLE!
It has come to my attention that my domain, Inggo.net, shall expire soon. I'm not sure if I would change servers, or keep this, or whatever, but I do know that I currently do not have the financial power to keep the domain for another year.
However, I do promise that I WILL have a domain set up early next month. Whether it would still be Inggo.net, I do not know. And, of course, I will still host RAEP there.
Therefore, posts submitted from TODAY UP TO JUNE 3 may be deleted from the database. I shall be saving RAEP data, but if ever problems occur, I cannot promise that posts submitted from now up to D-day would be included.

#4 - A Sudden Burst of Inspiration~ - 20070524
Due to recent... exploits, I have been inspired to do some real site updates.
To be honest, I haven't been touching the site's code for the past two weeks, even though I said I would. It's just that I wasn't inspired to do so until yesterday.
So anyway, as for the updates, I've changed the way RAEP guards from spam, which is now done via a dynamically-generated image (read: a picture with random letters/numbers). Note that the letter "O" is smaller than the number "0", and all the letters are uppercase.
Also, I've changed the scoring method, now with a more... verbose output.
And finally, I've put up an RSS feed (see below), in case anyone would want to be updated live via bookmarks or feed readers.
I almost decided to change the background to a more colorful one, but then again, I'll just leave it as it is.
If I still am inspired, expect an update within the next couple of days.

#3 - What's Our Status? - 20070512
No real updates... just renewed the welcome note and the news page. It's been slow, and the quotes aren't receiving much scores... so I encourage visitors to score the quotes. And, yes, the scores can go negative. Also, we need more quotes. Submit more even if they're from the past (as long as they really happened). I'd also mention that when I said "no real names" at the submission page, I meant no FULL names. Nicknames are allowed. And finally, the Random page is not broken. It's just that there aren't enough quotes to randomize. The method I used collects 50 random quotes and puts them in order, and since there are only 39 quotes as of date, it basically does nothing.
I also decided to use this as an update for my own life/site as well. While I haven't had much time for myself, some (many, actually) stuff keeping me busy, I've been working on my main site on some of the free time that's been given to me. I can't give an exact time when it'll be up, but I'll try to put it once the main stuff are done.
If you care or wonder, this past month, I've been to school (yes, really), and also been helping with a campaign of a senatorial candidate (not that I help much... and if you're wondering who, read the previous news entry). In fact, I've been to 10 provinces the past three days. ~.~
Come elections I'll probably be free. And I'll probably be working on the site (/raep/ and my other web-projects) more, if not goofing around or playing stuff or sleeping.
Anyway, that aside, if you find any bugs or other shit, you know how to contact me. ^^

#1 - RAEP Released! - 20070424
Finally, after some delay... RAEP's first release is here!
All features from the QDB is emulated, and some stuff will be added for the future. And of course, no moderation!
I apologize for the delay, but it comes with some good news. I managed to save some of the quotes from the old database, and edited the ones that needed editing. So, basically the only fresh stuff are the scores. Fresher posts would be up to the strong people (read: you).
If you would like a quote to be removed or edited, or would like to be unbanned, feel free to contact me.
As for what new features would be added, contact me for suggestions as well.
